Know your State Lemon Laws
Lemon Law is a law that protects the consumers on their purchased vehicle or also known as motorhome. Lemon Laws are very important laws because it promotes general welfare and safety and also benefits of the consumer that they deserve in having the car that they want. It is included in this law that whatever defect of the vehicle that showed upon purchasing or after quite sometime, within the warranty or lemon law period, the manufacturer will sponsor or will be held liable in any untoward circumstance, including the refund or any thing that is best suitable for the problem or situation that a particular consumer is into.
Lemon laws in United States of America are very well implemented. It is because a lot of people or residents in the States have a motorhome. Since there are 50 states in America, State Lemon Law varies in each state. For example under California Lemon Law, this law is also known as The Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act beginning with Civil Code section 1790, provides protection on consumers who lease or buy new motor vehicles. This law requires that if the manufacturer or its representative in this state, such as an authorized dealer, is unable to service or repair a new motor vehicle to meet the terms of an express written warranty after a reasonable number of repair attempts, the manufacturer is required promptly to replace the vehicle or return the purchase price to the buyer. The law is actually applied for the entire period of warranty. For example, the vehicle is covered by a 2year-warranty and the buyer discovered that there is a certain defect after 2 years, the manufacturer will have to replace the vehicle or reimburse the buyer if the manufacturer or its representative is unable to conform the vehicle to the express warranty after a reasonable number of attempts to do so.
