Maldives Surfing
Surfing in the Maldives have gained in popularity quite spectacular since the mid-90s, when the O’Neill Deep Blue competition was held in Lohifushi. There is a fantastic to breaks in the Maldives, but there is little tourism in the region. These breaks are really only surfable from March to November. It is essential that you plan in advance if you plan to surfing in the Maldives. You must have your accommodation booked for the duration of your stay above the earth. The Maldives are an area in which you simply using your turn, the Board and Director of the waves! The southwest monsoon hits Maldives, between May and November, and, usually the best time for breaks. The month of June is usually the time when the bad weather and storms to beat to navigate, is not very good, but it may take some very large swells for the adventurer, surfers. The best known are the breaks in North Male atoll, the region can be very Überfüllt especially if there are some ships to Safari. Some of the best spots;

There are also some breaks in the South Male atoll, but they are usually smaller and not as reliable as in North Male atoll. There are not so many surfing safaris no longer here, and it is difficult to find somebody, the well-known are the breaks.
On the outer side of the atolls are some breaks acceptable, however, if you plan to a special trip here, that you have a reliable Schiffer, and do a little research before you travel.
Most stations are in the surf North Male atoll, but there are only a couple, the Internet offer in scheduled traffic for the ships waves. Dhoniveli Beach, Lohifushi, and Club Med Kani, three seaside resorts offer excellent services surfing. They have both near the periodic breaks or a service boat near the waves. They also have bars and facilities installation, in the surf comfort.
If you want to benefit from a holiday in the Maldives surfing you really need, research and planning in advance or may be disappointed.
